101 Work from Home Jobs for Moms

Get started as a Virtual Assistant and start making money from your couch!

One of the top questions I get from the moms that I talk to is “What does a virtual assistant do?” I always want to respond with “What can’t a virtual assistant do?”

If you’re not already familiar with what a virtual assistant is, you can check out my detailed blog post about that here. There are still so many people that think a virtual assistant is like a secretary online, and while there are VAs who offer administrative services, there are so many other services you can offer as a virtual assistant.

Virtual assistants have different specialties. Some are more creative, some have amazing technical skills, some are great at marketing, and some offer more general services such as email management and data entry. The most amazing thing about being a virtual assistant is that you get to choose what services you want to offer.

Even if you’ve never done a specific type of VA job before, there are plenty of businesses out there who are willing to teach you these new skills, or you can learn on your own! I always encourage you to just get started and learn while you’re on the job, like I did.

To help you determine which services you can do, I’ve compiled this list of 101 services you can offer as a virtual assistant.

While this list is very detailed, there are probably even more services out there! If you have a skill that you don’t see listed below, feel free to send me an email and we can talk about it!

The best thing?! You can get paid $20 – $100 an hour based on your experience, all while working from the comfort of your couch!
