[00:00:00] Are you struggling to find new virtual assistant clients? And just wondering if this is all even worth it. Sister, I have been there, and in today’s episode I’m sharing five tips to help you land those clients so that you can replace your teaching income faster.
[00:00:17] So let’s just jump right in. Number one is to think out of the box. You guys, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again. Hoping that the results will change. So if you are not finding clients in the way that you’ve been consistently looking for them, maybe it’s time to try something new. So let me give you some examples. If you’re a social media manager, Maybe you could create a TikTok account sharing social media tips as well as trending sounds, and then you can also share your services there. Because if someone goes and use a sound that you tell them to use and it works for them, they’re gonna be like, oh my gosh, she knows what she’s talking about, or, I need to hire her. And it does not take you that long to make those trending videos. All right. If you’re a podcast manager, maybe you could start a podcast where you share podcasting tips. And then someone comes and listens because they’re trying to DIY it, and they’re like, nevermind, I just need to hire this girl because she knows what she’s talking about, and she can probably save me a ton of time. When you’re thinking outside of the box of how to find clients, I want you to think about how you can connect with your client on a deeper level. How can you serve them in a higher capacity, and then they’ll wanna hire you, which this also brings me into tip number two.
[00:01:41] Tip number two is to get your potential client a win before they even hire you. So like I said, the social media manager, maybe they use a sound that you recommended and their video goes viral, bam. They wanna hire you podcast manager. Maybe somebody’s able to record and launch their first ever podcast episode because of the tips you gave them. And they’re so grateful and they get overwhelmed with all the other stuff they have to do for it. So they’re just like, I’m gonna hire her. When you give them that win, it builds that trust. And so when they realize like, oh, I need help in this area, the first person they’re gonna come to is the one that they trust, and I want that to be you.
[00:02:22] Tip number three is to use your client’s language when you are creating anything for them. The best way to do this is to ask questions anywhere that your ideal client is hanging out. So if your ideal client is on TikTok, I ask questions about like what certain types of businesses are struggling with and get them to engage with you and then save those comments, like copy and paste them into a document for you to use later in your future videos. So you can be like, Hey, I know you’re struggling with this, this, and this. This is how I can help. And they’ll be like, oh my gosh, how does she know? That’s the exact thing I need help with? Okay, so market research is so crucial.
[00:03:08] And then the fourth way that you can find new virtual assistant clients is through asking your warm market. Your warm market is people that already know you and therefore already have some degree of trust in you. A lot of times we think we just gotta go find. Somebody new, but there may be somebody in your war market that could use your help that maybe forgot you do that. Or maybe they know somebody else who could use your help and they can refer you. Okay? So maybe I’d say like once every, at least six months, put a post on your Facebook page letting people know what that you have a client opening message that business owner, you know, and see if they need help with anything or if they know any other business owner, friends who do. Your warm market is a really great place to find clients.
[00:04:03] And then the fifth tip I have for finding new virtual assistant clients is to follow up with previous clients. They may need more help, or again, they may know someone else who could use that service and they can hype you up because they absolutely loved what you did for them. We actually go in depth into strategies for landing new clients.
[00:04:26] In my mastermind, The Scaling Virtual Assistant, this Mastermind is for faith-filled virtual assistants who are ready to step into that expert role and start landing clients who don’t see them as an employee, but see them as the expert that is going to help them scale their business. It’s for that virtual assistant who is ready to put systems in place so that they can save so much time, work way less, and actually focus on those money making activities so that they can make the income they want. And then go spend most of the rest of their day with their babies.
