Are you thinking about quitting your 9 to 5, but you’re wondering what God’s purpose is for you outside of your current job? In this episode, I’m going to share with you 8 Bible verses to help you discover what God’s purpose is for you. is for your life, in your life, all the things. The first verse I have for you is Jeremiah 29:11 and it says, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.

Plans to give you hope and a future. I think, to me, what the Lord is saying here is that He knows our plans, and we’re not going to know the whole entire path. We just have to keep taking that next step forward where we think He’s guiding us. And if we’re, if we take the wrong step, but we thought was right, and we were like doing it in faith, He’s going to direct us Where we need to go. All right. The next verse I have is Psalms 37:3, and it says, commit your way to the Lord. Trust him and he will act. So if you are working to make sure that your. If your goals and your aspirations and your dreams are aligned with the Lord and what He wants for your life, then He’s going to help you take the steps to get there. And you can do that through prayer, through asking Him where He wants you to go, just like those daily conversations with God. It doesn’t have to be, you know, hours, you know, on your knees praying, but just like those quick, brief prayers all throughout your day, just taking Him with you. all the time throughout the day.

The next verse is Philippians 4:6. It says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. So he’s just reminding us that we can ask him for help and we also can show him gratitude for the things he’s already helped us with. Because when you show that gratitude, you’re showing God that you understand it was Him that helped you do that and it wasn’t your own, you know, choices and whatnot. He helped you make whatever dream you had come true. Alright, the next one is Psalm 62:5. Yes, my soul, find rest in God. My hope comes from Him. So I think a lot of times, When we want to leave our nine to five and we’re like scared about it, we are trying to control, you know, every aspect and get all of the answers up front. But when you just take a moment and find rest in God and know that He’s going to guide you where you need to go and you have hope and faith and trust in that, it’s a lot easier of a process.

Right, Philippians 1:6, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. So just know that all the works that you do, all of the things that you do, if, as long as you’re following Christ, like, He’s going to get you where you need to go, so you don’t have to stress about all the little things. The next one kind of ties into, That one I Peter 5:7 cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you again We don’t have to sweat the small stuff. He’s got our backs. Just keep taking those steps forward Proverbs 16:9 says in their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes life their steps. So we can have all these amazing plans laid out, but God knows where we’re going, and it’s probably not what you think you’re supposed to, what you think you’re gonna do. But I promise you this, that God’s plan is better than any plan we could come up with.

The last verse I have for you is Deuteronomy 31:8. It says the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid and do not be discouraged. I don’t even think there’s anything I need to say there. It’s kind of a mic drop moment, but he’s got you. God has your back. You just have to follow him and trust in him and know that he’s going to take you where he wants you to go. All right, y’all. Thank you so much for listening to this episode and we will see you next time.
