I was where you are not too long ago...

Growing up, whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be I always answered: a mom.

Knowing that my future kids weren’t going to be able to pay me in anything more than slobbery kisses and sweet little baby giggles, I naturally went into teaching, figuring that surrounding myself with other kids would make my heart happy.

However, as most of you know, teaching has changed, and it’s not just about educating the littles of our country anymore. I spent my days stuck in a classroom, unhappy, having more and more responsibilities placed on my shoulders. I spent my weekends cutting endless amounts of laminate and working on lesson plans, wishing I could just relax with my hubby on the couch. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my students, but all of the other stresses and additions of my job left me feeling exhausted day in and day out.

Then I got pregnant, and I knew that I couldn’t maintain this career and be the present, loving mom that I wanted to be when I was coming home with no energy after taking care of other people’s kids. The DAY my water broke, I found out about Virtual Assistance, and within one month I had started looking for clients. Within 6 months I had already replaced my teaching income, working half the amount of time, setting my own schedule, all while my baby girl napped beside me.

I knew there were so many other mamas out there who were dreaming of an opportunity like this, but had never found the answer. Now, I help these tired, burnt-out mamas and teachers step into their new power as a Virtual Assistant and create a work-from-home job so they can live the life they once only dreamed of.
