(00:07):
Hey, hey, y’all! Welcome back to our three day series where I’m teaching you how to grow and scale your virtual assistant business in just a few hours a week. Back last Tuesday, I shared how to build the foundations of your virtual assistant business and how long that will take you. So make sure you go back and listen to that episode if you haven’t done so already. And then last Thursday, I shared how to kind of scale that and build your business with 10 hours a week. But today I’m gonna be sharing how to really light a fire under your virtual assistant business and give it the fuel that it needs.
(01:50):
If you have 15 hours per week to dedicate to it, even if you don’t, I still recommend listening to this episode because I’m gonna give you some valuable tips that you can use to do later in your business. It’ll just take you a little longer if you don’t have that much time to give it right upfront. So week one of your business, you’re still going to build out your business foundations that I mentioned in the first episode of the series. So it’s gonna take you about five hours to do that. And then you’re still going to spend three hours networking and three hours applying for jobs. So I want you to do that for 30 minutes a day each and then you can take one day of the week off. Again, so, so crucial. The biggest way to build your virtual assistant business is with consistency.
(02:35):
So if you give it that time, you’re going to see the results. So that gets us to 11 hours total. And then I want you to use the remaining four hours to build your skills. So you can take a course, watch a YouTube tutorial, do some testimonial work. This is all in your first week of your business. I want you to build those skills that you can then showcase in your portfolio. Okay? Week number two. Again, you’re gonna do the networking, applying for jobs for three hours. Each you’re gonna take five hours to build your skills. And then for the remaining four hours, I want you to do some market research and discovery calls, figure out what are my ideal clients’ pain points. Ask them questions in the Facebook groups. You’re in to try to draw out what it is they’re needing help with. And then I want you to make a note of what language they’re using.
(03:26):
Once you have this, you can go back into your portfolio or any of the stuff you’ve created so far and tweak your messaging to use a language that your dream client is actually using. Okay? So that’s week two. You’re gonna network, apply for jobs, build your skills and do some market research. Week three, I want you to do the same thing. And then week four, you’re still gonna do the networking and applying to jobs, ’cause we’re always doing that. But by now, if you’ve really been serious and given the full 15 hours to your business, you’ve most likely had some discovery calls and have probably landed at least one client by now. So you’re gonna need to dedicate three to four hours to get them started working with you and for you to start actually doing the work. So if you’ve been able to pour that gasoline on your virtual system business, and you’ve landed your first client in one month, I wanna take a moment to first celebrate you for doing that and being consistent because it takes a lot of willpower and I want you to come celebrate with us.
