Believing that you can do something new that you’ve never done before is incredibly challenging. And this is especially true when it comes to considering quitting teaching to start working from home as a virtual assistant, you most likely have a degree and experience in the teaching field, so it’s hard to believe that you should leave that security to pursue something else. However, God did not place this dream on your heart for no reason. We just have to believe and trust in his ability to make that dream a reality. So that’s why today I’m gonna share with you six Bible versus to help you believe in yourself as you pursue your new virtual assistant business.
(01:59):
But before I do that, I wanna invite you to register for the free workshop where you can really see if this virtual assistant thing is right for you. In the workshop, I’m gonna teach you what a VA is and what services they can offer. And I’m also gonna help you identify what services you would love to offer that would seriously just light up your heart every day. I’m also gonna teach you where to find paying clients that you adore. So you can replace your teaching income faster and start working from home sooner. And I’m going to teach you the three mistakes that new virtual assistants make, so you can avoid them and end up saving yourself money. All right. So to get registered for that, you just go to ariannavernier.com/virtual-assistant-workshop, or you can click the link in the show notes.
(02:48):
All right. So let’s just go ahead and jump right into these Bible verses to help you feel more confident and believe in yourself that this is really possible for you: Matthew 21:21-22, “Jesus told them, I tell you the truth. If you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, may you be lifted up and thrown into the sea and it will happen. You can pray for anything. And if you have faith, you will receive it.” So I know that sometimes we can question if we really deserve what we’re praying for. We don’t believe that God will give it to us because we don’t believe we deserve it. So we really need to work on building up our confidence to know that He believes that we deserve it.
(03:42):
All right, next one: Hebrews 10:23, “Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering. For he who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful.” When we expect things to go as they’ve gone in the past, we’re not leaving any room for his greatness to intervene and unfold. We need to dream and expect and believe bigger so that He has room to work. We just have to believe that this is possible.
(04:18):
Next one: Philippians 4:8, “Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right, and pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me. Everything you heard from me and saw me doing then the God of peace will be with you.” You guys, sometimes there’s nothing more we need to do than just sit back. Let God and trust Him. That’s it.
(04:51):
Jeremiah 32:27. “I am the Lord. The God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Guys. Again, God is just asking us to believe and trust in him that he will make our dreams come true. He did not place this dream on your heart for no reason.
(05:11):
II Chronicles 15:7 “But as for you be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” Sometimes God uses obstacles in our path to strengthen us the same way that like lifting weights builds muscle. So sometimes a process is building something that’s powerful and necessary within you. And the best things, you guys, are not easy. So just have that belief and that trust that any obstacle you’re going through is for your benefit.
(05:45):
All right, last one: John 7:38, “Whoever believes in me, as scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” Mic drop. No other words necessary. Y’all I hope that you take some time to meditate on these verses. Go find them in your Bible, highlight them, read them every day, post them up on your wall so you can see them. And just start to believe that God has this dream on your heart for a reason, like I always say, I feel like a broken record, cause I’m always saying that, but I just want y’all to believe it. It’s so incredibly possible for you.
(06:27):
