Y’all, believing that you can do something new that you’ve never done before is incredibly challenging, and it’s something that we all struggle with. Anytime something’s new, it feels really overwhelming, and this is especially true when it comes to you considering whether you want to quit your nine to five and Start working from home as a virtual assistant. Now, you most likely have a degree and experience in your 9-5 field already, so it can be really hard to believe that you should leave that security to pursue something else. However, I want you to remember that God did not place this dream that’s been on your heart He didn’t place it there for no reason. We just have to believe and trust in his ability to make that dream a reality. That’s why in today’s episode, I’m sharing six Bible verses to help you believe in yourself as you pursue your new virtual assistant business.
So let’s just go ahead and jump right in. The first verse I have is Matthew 21:21-22, and it says, “Jesus told them, I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, may you be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” I know, for me personally, and I know a lot of you, sometimes we question if we even deserve what we’re praying for. We don’t truly believe that God will give it to us because we don’t believe that we deserve it, deep down. So we have to work on building up our confidence to know that He believes that we deserve it. Not because of anything we’ve done, but because he’s made us in his image and he wants us to chase after our dreams that he’s placed on our heart. All right, Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering for he who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful.” So when we expect things to go as they’ve gone in the past, we’re not leaving room for God’s greatness to intervene and unfold. We have to remember to dream and expect and believe bigger so that God has room to work because he can’t, he can’t work when you’re thinking like, this is not going to happen for me.
I mean, he can, but it’s harder. But if you believe that he can do anything, even for you, who you think doesn’t deserve it, he has that room to work. All right, Philippians 4:8, “fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right and pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me. Everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then, the God of Peace will be with you.” So, sometimes we think we just have to like, do, do, do to make our dreams come true. To help us hit those goals, but sometimes there’s just nothing more that we need to do other than to sit back, let God work, and trust in Him. Jeremiah 32:27, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Again, we keep coming back to that idea of trust. God is asking us to believe and to trust in him that he will make our dreams come true. Again, I don’t know how many times I’ve said this on the podcast, but God did not place this dream on your heart for no reason. It is there for a purpose.
Alright, II Chronicles 15:7. “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” I think sometimes God puts obstacles in our path in order to strengthen us. Kind of like the same way that lifting weights builds muscle. It’s not fun in the process, but you’re building something powerful and necessary within you. So obstacles are not a bad thing, they could definitely be a good thing. They’re helping to train you for what’s coming next. All right, the last one I have for you is John 7:38 “whoever believes in me, as scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” So I just want to invite you to trust in God, to believe that whatever He’s placed on your heart can happen and will happen if you put your faith in Him.
This doesn’t mean you need to, you know, go out and do crazy things because He’s got your back. Like, you still want to be discerning and pray and all of that, but you can absolutely believe and stand in faith that the things that you know God has created you for are coming. And will come, but it’s all in God’s timing, and we just have to stand in our faith. waiting for those things to happen. All right y’all, thank you so much for listening to this episode. I hope that it was inspiring for you and helped you and I would just be so grateful if you would take a moment to leave a review on the podcast. It helps me reach even more amazing mamas and women just like you and just helps to spread this message that God has our back and we don’t have to worry about All of these things we worry about every single day. All right y’all, I love you so much and we will see you next time.
