[00:00:00] Mindset is such a huge piece of becoming a virtual assistant, and it’s what causes a lot of people to give up. We face that imposter syndrome, that feeling of who am I to do this? Who’s actually going to pay me? And that really holds us back from all that virtual assistance could become for us, it is one of the biggest things we focus on at the beginning of the Virtual Assistant Mama Academy because I see so many people give up time and time again because their mindset is not in the right place. One really amazing tool that will help you get your mindset into that position of, I can do this. I can figure out how, even if I don’t know how already I can learn one really amazing tool that can help you get into that mindset is a morning routine. So in this episode, I’m gonna walk you through three steps that I recommend you take for a simple morning routine that just helps put you in the right frame of mind so you start off your day on a powerful note and can dive into all the things that you need to do with a positive attitude.

[00:01:15] So the first one, y’all probably know what I’m gonna say, but it is to pray. Like I mentioned in the last episode, you have to give your business to God, so you need to invite him in, and the best way to do that is through prayer. This doesn’t have to take you a long time. You don’t have to be super eloquent. God already knows our thoughts and our desires, what we want, what we need, but he just wants us to voice it to him, so I always just recommend. Talking to him like he’s your friend, just saying, God, I need you. I need your help today. Help me through, you know, looking for this next client. Help me find the next client that’s going to be the best fit for me and help me to provide for my family.

[00:01:57] All right. The next thing that you need to do in your morning routine is to read your Bible. The best way to refocus our mindset and to set our mind on what God has for us is to read his word in scripture. Again, this does not take a lot of time. You can literally just read a couple verses or a couple pages. You don’t have to read a whole entire section at once because you probably wouldn’t even comprehend it anyway, but just a little bit just to get you in God’s word every single day.

[00:02:32] The third tip that I have for you to implement into your morning routine is to get a gratitude journal. These are really cheap on Amazon. I love them so much. It’s literally just three lines. You write the date and then you write three things you’re grateful for. It gets you set in that mode of gratitude instead of feeling like the world’s against you and just makes it a much more positive day. And then I do have another one that’s optional. Some days I do this, some days I don’t. But I do recommend sometimes journaling through any fears or imposter syndrome that are coming up for you. This is helpful because it gets it outta your brain and like maybe you’ll see, you know, this isn’t as big and scary as I thought it was when it was just in my mind jumping around. And it’s really cool because then like a few weeks from now, you can go back and look at your previous journal entries and see how God has helped you in those areas. So it’s really cool for tracking that. All right, so real quick, let me recap my morning routine tips to help you just get on the right foot, start your day on the right foot, and be successful in your virtual assistant business.

[00:03:46] Number one is to pray. Two is to get in the Bible. Three is to have a gratitude journal, and then four, the optional one is to journal through any fears or imposter syndrome. All right, y’all. I hope you liked this episode.
