Hey, y’all welcome back to Quick Tip Thursday. Today’s question I’m going to be answering is, how long will it really take to replace my income as a virtual assistant so I can quit teaching? So in this episode, I’m just gonna share with you a game plan to help you quit teaching in six months or less. So we’re just gonna break it down. Month number one, you’re gonna be focusing on setting up your business. Here on the show here on the Ditch the Classroom podcast, I have three episodes that are going to walk you through exactly what you need to do to start your virtual assistant business in just 5 hours a week, 10 hours a week or 15 hours a week, depending on how much time you actually have to give to this. So those episodes are episodes 105, 106 and 107. So go check those out and you can find those really easily by going to ditchtheclassroom.com/vault, V-A-U-L-T. That has all of our podcast episodes organized by topic with links to everything, every episode, any resources I mentioned in the episode and all of that. So you can find those really easily there again. That’s episodes 105, 106, and 107. Okay. So month one, you’re focusing on setting up your business, learning all the ins and outs of becoming a virtual assistant.
(02:39):
Month two, you’re going to network, which is communicating with people and just answering questions, providing value for free. And you’re going to be applying for jobs. Typically, if you’re really consistent with this and doing this at least one-and-a-half hours a week, you will typically land your first client. Okay?
(03:04):
Then month three, again, still networking, still applying for jobs. You’re probably gonna land two to three more clients. Month four, same thing, land two to three more clients. Now month five, you probably have quite a bit of client work to do so you’re not gonna be networking and applying for jobs as much, but you still need to be building that time in. And so you’ll land one more client. Month, six, same thing, land one more client. Okay. By the end of this six months, you’ve now landed between seven-to-nine clients with seven to nine clients, you have most likely at least replaced your teaching income. If not exceeded it. Now, the important thing to remember for doing this is that you have to have two things, consistency and dedication. You have to be consistent and you have to keep going, even when you’re on the struggle bus, okay? This is so crucial to allowing you to replace your teaching income.
(04:11):
Now, if you’re ready to take this thing full force, I invite you to come and join the Teacher Turned Freelancer Academy. This is where I’m gonna help hold you accountable for your goals.
