(03:22):
Now, in today’s episode, I’m gonna be teaching you all about what an online business manager is and what they do. So the role of an OBM is to make sure that the right things get done at the right time, in the right way, and by the right people. They’re responsible for quite a few different things in a business. Number one is project management, so they can help plan and map out projects in a business, including launches, managing programs, creation of new revenue streams, updating websites, and more. So they really will see a project from start to finish.
(04:08):
They can also be in charge of operations and automation. So, they can help automate systems and create processes for day-to-day activities in the business. That way, it streamlines and simplifies how things are run and makes it easier for other people to run the business, rather than just the single business owner. They’ll also help to track metrics. So they’ll take a look at key business activities and see what is working and what’s not working so that decisions can be made for ongoing growth. So, what programs are actually bringing in revenue, consistent revenue, what’s actually seeing profit and what isn’t, what might need to be kicked to the curb. OMBs will also manage people. So if there’s projects that need to be outsource to other freelancers, the OBM will manage and lead the efforts of the team to meet those business goals.
(05:11):
So really, OBMs are considered the go-to person for CEOs of a business. The CEO is the visionary, and the OBM is the one who implements the strategies, lays out the processes and hires the people to bring those visions to life. So if you love managing others, streamlining, simplifying, automating processes, and being in the trenches through an entire project rather than just a small piece of it, then becoming an online business manager might be a great fit for you. So if you have any questions about anything we talked about today, as always feel free to send me a DM on Instagram or send me an email, I’m happy to answer them. And yeah, I hope you guys are loving this series. Let me know if there are any other services you want me to dive into and I hope you guys have a great rest of your week.
