Is that the right word? With this five day podcast series for y’all, we’re also gonna be having a flash sale on the Teacher Turned Freelancer Academy. (02:28):
All right, today’s quick tip Thursday episode question is, what do I need to have in place when I start my virtual assistant business? There are really three must haves that you need before you start looking for your virtual assistant clients. So you need to have these three things in place before you start pursuing clients. Number one is you need to have your packages built. Packages simply showcase what you can do for your clients. I do have an episode that goes really in-depth into this. It’s episode 96. What’s the difference between charging hourly versus package pricing? As a virtual assistant, you can find that wherever you’re listening or go to ditchtheclassroom.com/vault. That’s v-a-u-l-t. But yeah, packages, you just really need to have like a line-by-line list of what you can do for your clients so that it’s really clear you know what they’re gonna be paying you for.
(03:30):
All right. The second thing that you need when before you start looking for your virtual assistant clients is a portfolio, and I talked about this more back in episode. Where is it – 134. But basically a portfolio- it’s less formal than a resume, and it just shows how you help your clients. A bit about you, your personality, services overview, some testimonials, and you can also include examples of past work if you want. I also have a episode that goes really, really, really in depth on the top five most essential components that you need in your portfolio as a new virtual assistant. So that one is episode 69, and again, you can find all of these episodes organized by category. Makes it super easy for you over at ditchtheclassroom.com/vault.
(04:33):
All right, y’all. The third thing that you need before you start looking for virtual assistant clients is a contract. You need to legally protect yourself, and you need to have this in place before you ever do any work for a client. Contracts are so important and they just kind of give you that peace of mind. If you don’t know where to look for a contract template, I wanna let you know that that is something that you get and the Teacher Turned Freelancer Academy, I make it super easier for you. I have highlighted like the different things that you just need to put your information. It seriously will take you five minutes and then bam, you’re protected. Again, we’ve got that flash sale starting next week, November 21st through 25th, where you’re gonna be able to save 20% off of the Teacher Turned Freelancer Academy. You’ll get the contract template, the portfolio template. I’ll help you build your packages and so many other things that you need to be a successful virtual assistant. So make sure you tune in next week for that, to get that special code for the flash sale. All right, y’all, if you have a question you would like for me to answer on quick tip Thursday here on the Ditch the Classroom Podcast, come into our free Facebook community. That’s facebook.com/groups/ditchtheclassroom. You can post your question there, and I would love to answer it for you here on the show. All right, I’m so excited. We’ve just got a few days left, and I will see you next week on Monday for the first day of our How to Become a Virtual Assistant five day series. All right, y’all, I love you so much.
